Does anyone know of a way to get clean html out of our Quark print documents? I know I can convert to a Web document and export as html. But I can't find any way to get rid of the CSS coding. Our web team wants clean html without CSS. They already have their own style sheets and getting rid of all the <span> tags is driving them nuts. Impossible for them to deal with. The problem is they're breathing down our necks to get us to convert print production to InDesign, which can accomplish what they need simply by clicking the "no CSS" checkbox when saving as html. They have the ear of the people who hold the purse strings around here so they may get their way if I can't come up with a better solution.
Any way to do this from Quark? Any Xtensions that can accomplish this? Any workflow solutions or workarounds that can create what they need? Third-party software that can create a clean html page from a CCS-tagged Quark html page? Anything?
I tried posting in the html-oriented part of the forum, but it seems like a lot more people read and answer here, so hopefully someone can answer this.
