Hello everyone,
Please help me.... I already published few apps without any problem and now with my new app "baroque noto" i'm having big problems:
As soon as i upload my app, on the itunes connect portal a message appears : INVALID BINARY
apple sent me this mail to explain this:
Dear developer,
We have discovered one or more issues with your recent delivery for "Noto Barocca". To process your delivery, the following issues must be corrected:
Non-public API usage:
Apps are not permitted to access the UDID and must not use the uniqueIdentifier method of UIDevice. Please update your apps and servers to associate users with the Vendor or Advertising identifiers introduced in iOS 6.
If method names in your source code match the private Apple APIs listed above, altering your method names will help prevent this app from being flagged in future submissions. In addition, note that one or more of the above APIs may be located in a static library that was included with your app. If so, they must be removed.
What does this mean??
i found some articles about apple's new policy about rejecting any app with udid references and so on.... Starting form may 1st.... SCARY....!!!
This is not really clear to me... and worries me quite a lot....
Apple will no longer accept apps only for iPad?
Is it only a udid problem? How can i delete any udid references from my app?
Is this somethink Quark has to take care about or can i do something?
What does quark think to do about this?
Pleas help, i really have to publish my app quickly and i have no idea about how to do so...
The digital publishing world continues to change really quikly and it's becoming really hard to follow all this....
I have been working on this app for the last 6 months and now that I'm finally ready to publish after lots of effort and work this new problem comes up....
Many people are involved in this project (as for my last app "genoa in 4 hours") and it is really frustrating not to be able to complete this project.
Thank you,
ludovica
