Im writing on here as I have spent many hours on the phone to whichever country in the world the operators were, struggling to get through and share my concerns over my account, lack of help and misleading selling on the site.
I opened an account in December and then started a paid subscription January. When joining and signing up it was listed there was a Kindle Fire build (one the front page). Once I paid and got access to the build - this was not the case. There was also a big hiccup where a member of staff accused me of lying and not having an account or having paid (as I had not had any confirmation of the order by email) - however I had access to all the member areas and my bank card had been charged. 14 days later they managed to find my order - I was told because it wasn't there department. How ridiculous.
I raised the issue about the fact it was advertised as a Kindle Fire build was that in fact there wasn't one there. The response I got was 'well use the Android build'. I argued that that was misleading as it clearly stated it was available. This was part of the reason for going with AppStudio over other companies. After being told I didn't need a Kindle build - one member of staff said they could get one built but would take a few weeks.!!! I then, after numerous phonecalls and emails asked for a refund and cancelation of my account.
I then had to wait 4 days for a response. The response was - 'use the Android build - no refund'. I have the trail of emails and names of the staff showing the lack of customer care or even listening to my concern and issue over the misleading text on the website.
I really was not impressed with the customer support I got over the issue - and as a start-up company cant afford to splash out and pay more on ££££s to ask a tech questions after the fact Im paying $400+ a month already for the AppStudio which doesn't seem to offer what it said it did.
I have had problems with the Android build, amazon keep refusing it saying it crashes - and I really have had enough.
I would like the account cancelled. Im a new app developer and have found this whole experience (and cost) so disappointing. The one saving grace is that the app seems to work with Apple.
There is no one at AppStudio/Quark who can simply help or 10 mins without having to spend more money and the instruction for most things on the website are pretty vague. The videos are dates - and says there will be more showing various things - and there havent been any more.
Any response here would be appreciated very soon. I really want this sorted and really dont want to seek advice elsewhere.
