Creating an E-Pub from a long book (374 pages, multiple files)

Hello- I have just completed laying out a book for print in quark which in total is about 374 pages. The book was laid using a separate file for each chapter. In order to create an e-pub, do all of the files need to be combined into one file? So essentially creating one file with 374 pages? Thanks!
