I've set up a Newsstand App in App Studio and followed all the documentation for creating a (free) Apple Subscription, generating the Shared Secret, etc. but my result from Apple was that my "binary does not contain the In-App Purchase mechanism, for the Free Subscription." When I submitted my app, the status of my IAP was "waiting for review." From reading Apple documentation, it seemed that I can/must submit my first IAP for review *at the same time* as my first version of my App, but that is what I did and it ended up getting my app rejected. I asked Apple if I needed to wait for my IAP to be approved before submitting the actual app binary, but Apple said the problem was that the mechanism wasn't in the binary in the first place. So I must say I'm a bit confused.
Which box do I check/information do I need to provide on the App Studio Build Form to get the IAP mechanism to be put into my binary?
My app cannot be reviewed until this function works, and I'm running low on time. My client expected this to be done at the beginning of the month, but there have been a lot of small issues relating to the Newsstand element of this. Many thanks for help with this problem.
