Hello everybody,
I saw quite a few people asking, how to avoid all these <span xml:lang="de"> tags, but no answers. This is really a serious problem, at least over here. I am experiencing these tags being closed and reopened in the middle of words, resulting in emptyspaces right there, because actually, span does more than nothing, it creates whitespace. It's not that often, but often enough. Example:
dam</span><span xml:lang="de">n</span><span xml:lang="de"> whitespaces
Looks like this in the end: dam n whitespaces.
Nobody want s to read a text lik e this.
Please, please, do help. I swear, I'm desperate because of all these additonal and missing whitespaces everywhere! This is more work than a man can do and I'm afraid to break my large epub files, if I use regex search-n-replaces.
