I keep having this issue when exporting from quark 9 to pdf.
The most recent is a large file of 28 x A3 pages with graphics - so pretty big, 27mb. It saves as pdf/x-1a:2001 (90mb) but crashes when saving at low res and medium screen res! It gets to page 28, then starts finishing the pdf and crashes. I have had this before - spent ages pdf-ing each page or 5 pages at a time and no crashing. When i split the document in two it saves fine. Shouldnt be a memory issue as Im running 8gb memory and 832 gb free out of 999. Im running OSX 10.8.2 on a 27 inch imac with quark 9.3.1.1.
Quark 8 did the same to me!
if it was an image or a font it would happen however many pages I exported?
Any ideas appreciated!
