Fix for 'corrupted' QXP10 file - EPS problem?

Hi All!

I have a couple of single page files built in QXP10 that QXP10 will open but that crash QXP as soon as I attempt to do anything to edit the file -- or even do a save-as to rename it. One of these acquired the problem on the same day it was created. Using the OS to make duplicates downs' help; the clones exhibit the same problem as the parent.

The only thing they seem to have in common is that both include at least one placed eps, though I no idea whether that is the problem.

Two questions:

Any tips for opening a file like this that has somehow be 'corrupted' or become unusable?

Any know issues with placing eps files in QXP10 documents?
