Hi there, looked thru the posts and could see nothing specific for my problem. Thanks for your help.
Trying to open a booklet document that went from me in Q8, on a Mac, to another person on a PC using Q9, and now it's back to me a year later, trying to work on it on my same MacBookPro, using Q9.5 that I installed last night.
I've noticed the file dumped all the proper font styling/selections and has made the type stylings match that of like Word. Example: In original document 'bold' fonts were selected as say GillSans Bold, now they are all the 'B" button function for bold-done on top of say GillSans regular. A big no-no as we know for proper file prep. It has happened with each page and each font style. Needless to say, this will take hours + of work to recreate the proper styling selections for optimal output/printing.
Does anyone have a head's up on what happened or how I can fix this? Is this a glitch in the Mac to PC document transfer? Could it have been the former user of the document who had the PC? (But I cannot image why this would have been done, nor how they could have done it.) Thanks for any and all brilliant answers!
