I'm currently using the new Test Drive version of Quark and I have noticed that when I open one of my legacy Quark 8 documents that when I say it... it saves as with the same document name but adds the .qxp appendix to the end. When I go to over write the file on top of itself... it never overwrites or replaces... again it just writes a new document name with the .qxp appendix. If I do upgrade to Quark 10, when they resolve all the performance issues... will this be a feature of the new update and as I work on old file with the new version will I now have multiple versions of the same document some with the original filename and others with the new Quark 10 .qxp appendix... or maybe this is just s Test Drive safety feature so that I can revert to my old Quark 8 files if I don't decide to upgrade.
Any comments most welcome.
Regards,
Anthony
