We have 3 Macs in our production department, all different models by maybe 1 year. I am running the newest 2012 iMac 21.5" and the newest version of the Mac OS X.
We're still running QuarkXPress 8.5.1 and mine was working fine except for having to Hold Alt on some ads upon opening to fix issues. Well one day it freaked out and it will not load any layouts that have images linked in them. But I can start a new layout and lay down images and everything works just fine. I've deleted the preference folders in all locations, I've completely wiped Quark from my machine and re-installed it. It's still doing the exact same thing, it just hangs and shows "Not Responding" under Force Quit. My only last option I can think of is to recover and start the machine back to what it was when we received it just maybe a month ago.
I'm new to what needs to be included to find help for this so if someone can help me that would be fantastic.
