I waited weeks and weeks after Mavericks was launched to make sure Quark (and everyone else) were stable before updating to Mavericks. Only after discussions with tech support and Pre-Sales at Quark to understand new patches had everything under control did I transition. I have only used Quark 10 for a very short time (4-5 days) and immediately notice a few things:
It is REEEEEEAAAAAALLLY sluggish (using the fastest MacBook Pro with Retina FULL of RAM with the fastest processors) and has crashed many times (yes I am using the latest 10.0.2). When I size images (placed eps files), the preview often (almost always) goes irrevocably corrupt. When the "make pdf" dialogue box is open, I can not scroll the document (which I could do in version 9 and previous). Printing Quark 10 files (to a Canon Pixma MG6220 inkjet) with placed illustrator eps files results in absolute gibberish renderings of placed images requiring I make a pdf and THEN print the pdf.....something I NEVER had to do with version 9.
Just wondering what else is going to make my professional graphic design life hell in the coming projects. grrrrrrrr
