I created my company newsletter in Quark, which includes advertisements. The majority of these are PDFs that I receive from advertisers and import into the appropriately sized image boxes.
Typically, most of these ads remain the same and are there when I begin a new layout using the skeleton of the previous one. However, I recently upgraded to 9.5.4 and now, about 2/3 of these PDFs are showing up as vertical color bars (kind of like a tv test pattern, but in black & white). The only difference between these PDFs that are not rendering correctly and the ones that are is that most of them are in color.
The last newsletter I completed was in September and it was fine. Now, when I open that one up in 9.5.4, those PDFs are a mess.
Any ideas? I've searched around a good deal and have not found a topic that addresses this.
I have tried deleting the image box and re-importing the PDFs, but that didn't work.
