I am learning how to format my book in ePub format and successfully export the file (small test files at this point). To my surprise, it is much easier than anticipated.
However, when I open the ePub file in Adobe Digital Editions or the ePubReader plugin in Firefox, the text doesn't wrap to the size of the window (it remains fixed) and the only way to increase the size of the type is to increase the window size. And with that, the text jumps from size to size erratically. At smaller sizes, the type looks terrible and almost impossible to read.
Am I doing something wrong, or are these readers unable to read the Quark ePub file for some reason? Is DRM applied by Quark to this file? Is there a better Mac app to test my files?
Thanks for your help.
